Like last time, the first person to guess which school this is in comments wins the right to brag about it. Signed comments are preferred, although if you want to win without taking credit for it, I guess that's your right. Once somebody gets it, I'll announce the winner, confirm the campus, and credit the submitter.
Thanks again for all the submissions; we've got some nice views lined up—some of which are going to be substantially more difficult to guess than the ones we've seen so far. But it would be horrible to eventually run out, so don't by shy, Smokers. Let us look out your window.

That would be Notre Dame.
Not to give it away but when you google "giant gold dome university" it's the third picture. Perhaps the regents should consider a new marketing campaign.

Uh, duh: Notre Dame. It's only the most famous college icon (at least if one has ever watched college football).
And it's utterly gorgeous.
wow-come on, this is simple. Notre Dame.
The only building on campus with sufficient verticality to get this awesome view is the Hesburgh library, and it has almost no windows in its massive tower. Only those who have risen to the top of the graduate student seniority ranking get one of the coveted window carrels. And even then you are twice as likely to have a view of random flatland and the campus powerplant. Only the lucky few out of the lucky few get this view from their window.
On the other hand, whoever said that a great view is conducive to dissertating?

I assumed that was one of those "we want to hire a specific person so we're going to make the ad fit only them" ads...
Actually, Notre Dame uses a lottery system for carrels, and nobody ever keeps the same carrel year to year. So enjoy it while you've got it!
