What's sad about this photo is that this is the typical office of a part time or term lecturer. Notice the cracked window glass (lower left hand corner) which has been taped up.

Given the tie, which looks purple and gold, I am going with LSU. They also happen to have lots of lecturer type positions if memory serves me correctly.
I think they are views "with respect to" the windows.

princeton -- looks like the back of the woodrow wilson school there.
Sash windows with old radiator in what looks like a converted house. Looking out at what appears to be a much grander building (shows philosophy's marginality, nice.) past some xeriscaping. So, an older campus, probably smaller, at altitude(?), in the American West. My first instinct is St. John's College in Santa Fe, but I don't remember any dilapidated houses there. NAU? No, not old enough. Colorado College? No, not green enough. Fuck. Me.
